Lighten Up!

May I ask, have you forgiven yourself, lately,

for all things real or imagined,

for your transgressions, your thoughts,

against yourself, against others?

 

Take yourself to task, look inside,

and be gentle with what you may find.

Put these “sins” behind you and embrace your life,

your blessings, with a heart full of love.

 

Know that there are “angels” surrounding you,

cheering you on, lifting you up.

So, let in your light,

and you will “lighten up!”
